Gas lamps and gilt-framed photos gave the Wellington celebrations on 31 July an air of a bygone age. The celebrations, however, were all about the future of the Institute and exceptional contributions to the profession. Institute Chief Executive Terry McLaughlin was awarded his Fellowship and Helen Rogers was announced as Central Region Young Chartered Accountant of the Year 2008.
