As New Zealand’s largest professional body, and premier organisation for accountants, the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants is proud to celebrate its 100th year throughout 2008.

A great deal of work has been done by committees and staff, to ensure that we make the most of our anniversary year. A special centenary logo has been created and a whole range of events organised. A major international conference will take place in August.

This website includes a potted history of the Institute in the form of a timeline, a diary of planned events and a send us your story section. I hope that many members will make a contribution to the story section and I look forward to reading your memories of the Institute.
